It is ridiculous to abolish the Department of Education, but this is how extreme the dogma is in Project 2025. It wants to cut federal loan programs that help students afford higher education. Look, I got to go to college because I came from a lower middle class family. I had Pell grants and loans, and I paid back my loans, but without those, I wouldn't have been able to. (47:24–47:29)
