I've got a really independent streak, and sometimes what it takes is somebody willing to hold their own party accountable. So one of the bills I passed was the good neighbor authority act. And This is something that empowers state and county level and tribal agencies to basically facilitate stewardship, thinning habitat projects on federally owned, on federal lands. A lot of logging operations, especially if they are a family operation, would walk over hot coals to not take a, you know, a job from the feds because it can be so complex. (45:45–46:02)
