Well, first of all, I think it's a misnomer to argue that we live in laissez faire, like hands off government. We already have laws that do things like taxes and regulation, and anytime you put laws in place, those laws incentivize and disincentivize behavior. So we already do that. All I'm arguing is that our incentives should now be built in the direction of serving the national interest. (21:23–21:31)
