And the quickest way to get there is by implementing a public option. Um, states are the laboratories of democracy. It's why it's really cool coming out of a state legislature. There are now four states who have implemented state level public options. And what they have seen is that they have effectively reduced the uninsured rate to almost zero, and they've driven down costs even for people who are keeping their private health insurance plan.
