So what I have done and what I've been trying to do in the town to address this culture of patronage and nepotism is a couple of things. First of all, We passed ethics reform legislation that is much more comprehensive than the ethics legislation that had existed in the past. It specifically speaks to the issues of nepotism and cronyism in town hall. In addition to that, when it comes to seasonal and part time employees, I was the first supervisor ever to host a job fair.
