Govs. Kevin Stitt & Matt Meyer on keeping the American dream alive: Full panel

Published | Video Starts at 21:22

You can create your own electricity by getting your own gas turbines, hooking it up to our natural gas, creating your own electricity for your data center, which also is totally off the grid. So we're trying to balance that. We believe we need more electricity. We just were meeting with the FERC administrator earlier, the chairwoman of FERC, and she's like warning America that if we don't build more electricity with the demand and the way we're growing as a country, this is why permitting reform is so important that we will have rolling blackouts. It's just a fact across the United States. And so we need to have, we need to have permitting reform to get more of those projects done. (21:22–21:43)
