The public education that I got growing up in Wisconsin 40 years ago is not the same as what my kids are getting. And that's not okay with Me. So Not only am I going to revisit the school funding formula so that it's more equitable and it meets the needs of today's kids, the state is going to fully fund its share so that we can permanently take that pressure off of property taxpayers. And moreover, we need to bring this voucher scheme that diverts public money, billions of dollars, every budget, into private, unaccountable voucher schools. (02:37–02:51)
