We shouldn't have to fight about something as basic. We should be making voting easier, not harder, but with safeguards. I mean nobody's saying that you just walk in. And A lot of states do have same day registration. I'm not advocating that. But we should make it easier for people to vote. But by the same token have the safeguards in place to ensure that the person who's registering citizen of the United States and is eligible to be a registered voter. (23:19–23:23)
