I'm going to nerd out on you for a quick second, if I may, but just a few miles from here, literally along the Delaware river Behind me, in 1682, William Penn arrived here at these shores of what is now Pennsylvania. Why do I bring him up? Because he tried to build a place that would be welcoming for all. Literally, the ship he arrived on was called welcome, and he wanted to build a place that was literally rooted in this idea of free Expression, free religion and free elections. (11:10–11:21)
