And it's working. Since then, the Department of Labor and Industry has investigated more than 12,000 complaints of violation to Pennsylvania labor laws. And We've returned over $12.5 million to workers in Pennsylvania who've been screwed. But our commitment to workers doesn't stop there. While our unemployment rate has been below the national average for 27 consecutive months, we need to be there for our workers, not just in these good times, but also when they suffer bad times.
