We've got a president of the United States who's firing black people, who's celebrating the downfall of the Voting Rights act, who's forcing governors. We need governors in Southern states to redraw maps simply to eliminate black voices in our politics. We are seeing attacks against people based on their faith, based on their race, based on their abilities, day in and day out. because some politicians think they can score some cheap point. We're better than this as Americans. If you want to know how I know that, it's because I have the privilege of going out and meeting with folks every day across Pennsylvania. (13:18–13:28)
