We listened to one another and we compromised. And we found a path forward to success for higher education in Pennsylvania. And that right there, what I'm about to sign is the result. A budget that makes the first significant investment and reform in higher education in more than 30 years in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Let me tell you what we're doing first, we're creating a state board of Higher Education to coordinate Higher ed in Pennsylvania, collect real data about what's working and what's not, so the dollars can specifically follow what's working for our young people.
