I believe that when you've been blessed, you have an obligation to be a blessing to others. And I also have a skill set that I can bring that is different than everybody else in the field. Being a combat leader, I understand what it takes to keep Michigander safe, because I've done it before. And as there are geopolitical threats that are even infringing upon Michigan, having a combat veteran as the commander in chief of the National Guard is something that would benefit the people of the state of Michigan and our safety.
