Simply put, for many in my generation, the academics they saw their children engaged in was radically different than our own education. The basics seemingly disappeared. Because of this, Our choice programs and the waiting list to get into them continue to grow. Not because of what we've done in the Capitol, but because parents are demanding it. Many of our children are fortunate to go to great schools with great teachers. (00:56–01:01)
