Senator Jagler on the State of Education

Published | Video Starts at 00:10

Hi, I'm State Senator John Jagler from Watertown and chair of the Senate Committee on Education. For more than 30 years, Wisconsin's been a leader in education reform. From 1990, when we implemented the first school choice program in Milwaukee, to 2015, when I authored and had signed into law the Special Needs Scholarship program, hundreds of thousands of kids received educational opportunities they never could have dreamed of. Unfortunately, our educational progress is under attack from the educational establishment, their allies and legislative Democrats. Recently they've introduced a series of bills that would roll back 30 years of reform in Wisconsin. (00:10–00:24)
