And that comes first through the budget reconciliation process. This is a once in a generation opportunity, and it's not an opportunity we can afford to squander. We can't let this go to waste by not taking this occasion to finally address our skyrocketing debt. And the only way we do that is not only to be responsible in the way we handle things like discretionary spending, but to dig deeper into the areas that the federal government spends, like mandatory spending.
