I vowed that if we couldn't reach agreement that I would put it before the people and ask them to get it done. You know what happened? The bat of voters agreed with me and voter ID received more total votes than any candidate or any question on the 2024 ballot. and I expect it to pass overwhelmingly again in 2026.
