And I fought to designate them as hazardous substances under the Superfund law. I've also proudly supported bringing in the resources and funding we need to clean up toxic PFAS pollution. And I've demanded accountability for the corporate manufacturers, some of whom knew about the dangers of PFAS as far back as the 1950s and hid what they knew from the public. it's hard to fathom the scale of the PFAS problem in this country.
