There's PFAS chemicals in firefighter gear that many believe causes cancer. And. And so that's why I pushed so hard in Congress to shut off the tap to new PFAS production. And I fought to designate [PFAS chemicals] as hazardous substances under the Superfund law. I've also proudly supported bringing in the resources and funding we need to clean up toxic PFAS pollution.
