In your time here, we've begun to focus on addressing polarization by helping students build skills to communicate across differences, even on issues that evoke strong feelings. I've been proud to see you jump into this challenging work and grateful that We've begun to build together programs like Deliberation Dinners and the New Wisconsin Exchange. to weave these opportunities more intentionally into the fabric of the UW experience for, I hope, decades to come.
