I'm going to tell you two brief Wisconsin stories about purpose. One from our past and one from the present. The first begins in 1941. Wisconsin's North woods had been heavily clear cut and The state [of Wisconsin] had millions of evergreen seedlings ready to help reforest the land [in 1941]. Then the United States entered World War II and many of of those who'd been hired to plant Those seedlings went off to war. And so the state turned to the University of Wisconsin. (07:58–07:59)
