And I do that every single day. And indeed, I'm somebody who, I do not believe in defunding the police. I'm somebody who has built the police. Our state police are stronger and larger today than they were when I took office. and I followed a Republican governor under whom the Illinois State Police was diminished. And so, you know, I'm a believer that. But that's not the only way to fight crime, by the way. (12:07–12:13)
