Things happen to you when you're a child, and they imprint on you, especially at an early age. And I, that's one of the reasons, by the way, long before I became governor, that I've been involved in early childhood development and early childhood education. because I believe that much of who you are today, you, me, everybody is determined really before the Earth, you're age 5, and your brain development, your reactivity to the things that happen in the world happens in those various earliest stages of life.
