More people are living in the eastern Front Range, think fires can affect more. The western Front Range hail, the eastern Front Range, but they both have an impact everywhere. And the second one is climate change. We simply have larger and more hail that is quite literally damaging more roofs. That is also a driver of the increased fire risk demographics, expansion into the wildland urban interface, as well as drier conditions that lead to quicker spread of fires. (01:58–02:05)
