And your first point about how we don't teach young people about the system of government and how to vote and what it means, we're doing them a disservice, and we are actively disenfranchising them by not empowering them with that knowledge. In my first term in the legislature, I actually got a bipartisan bill through the state House. It ended up dying in the state Senate for comprehensive civics education. It's been a long time since we've had real civics education in this country that teach young people how to take ownership of the democratic process. (51:17–51:27)
