President's already said that he's got several people that he's actually interviewing. This is an interim appointment actually as a placeholder for an NC that actually doesn't carry out the intelligence gathering. The Office of Director of National Intelligence is a coordinating office. They don't do any intelligence gathering at all. That's all the other agencies that do this. This is a bureaucratic entity. I think some of my Democratic colleagues are trying to make it sound like this is the point of all gathering of information for intelligence. (07:37–07:44)
