It's not going anywhere. And this effort to abuse the notion of an emergency authority has already been defeated multiple times by the Supreme Court, a very conservative Supreme Court. The president tried to use emergency authority to federalize the national Guard. We, of course, sued him, took it all the way up to the Supreme Court, and he was denied that ability. which is why the president was forced to pull out of places like Oregon, California, and Illinois. The President claimed the authority to unilaterally issue tariffs, tariffs that are hurting businesses, hurting entrepreneurs, and certainly hurting farmers and consumers. (13:15–13:26)
