At Governor Tony Ever's request, FEMA teams have worked alongside state and county authorities to fully assist the damage wrought by this flooding. With that work largely done now, The Governor has requested a major disaster declaration that would unlock the federal assistance for many households, businesses and public assets. And we're still trying to put this all together and figuring out how to pay for this. And I urge our President to immediately approve Governor Everett's request for a federal disaster declaration.
