On August 9, the so called thousand year flood dumped record rainfall across Wisconsin bringing flooding and sewerage back up. That caused millions of dollars in damage, left stunning thousands without power and forced many from their homes. Recent reports indicate that this flooding caused a loss of life. But I have no doubt that many more lives would have been lost were it not for the tireless work of our brave first responders. (00:24–00:32)
