Hi, everyone. The Supreme Court just released a devastating, horrible, corrupt opinion that we will basically come to know as Citizens United 2.0. After Watergate, Congress passed anti-corruption laws and campaign finance rules, and those were eviscerated by Citizens United allowing unlimited amounts of money, including corporate cash, to get spent in our elections. But one piece of those rules did survive. It basically said that politicians cannot call up rich people in corporations and ask for infinite money. (00:13–00:32)
