While he was out on the streets awaiting sentencing, he murdered a 23 year old woman here in Harris County. That is horrific. And that's one reason why We were able to get the reforms passed during the session that Bree Hunt has already made reference to. But we're not done yet. There's more to be achieved with regard to reforming the judiciary and the rules with regard to bail to make sure that we keep behind bars those who pose an imminent danger to our community.
