As a result, Texas now ranks number one in the United States for the most power generation. In fact, we generate more power in Texas than California and New York combined. And we're not done yet. Last session, I signed a law to add 10,000 new megawatts of power to our grid. That's enough to power more than 2 million homes. We must add more power this session to better fortify our grid.
