Many of us have understood for quite some time that what's happening in Washington D.C. is almost entirely separate from us and our world. And that the only people that have access are those with wealth and power. We have a political system in which if you have money, if you have power, you can see your needs represented in policy. But if you work two or three jobs, if you struggle to make rent, you will never see what you need in the policy that comes out of this kind of politics. (05:09–05:19)
