Well, one of the things we need to do is we need to get rid of the structural impediments that allowed them to do that in the first place. One of those being the three fifths filibuster. The filibuster has been used for a very long time as a weapon against policy that is good for the working class of this country. Country. It's been used over and over and over again. I'm a big fan of Senator Jeff Merkley's idea. He actually wrote a whole book on this that I highly recommend, which is bring back the speaking filibuster. (37:32–37:43)
