Published October 1, 2026

I would freeze electricity rates in the state of Texas. They have gone up dramatically since winter storm. URI Remember when our grid went out, We had over 600 Texans perish [during winter storm URI]. The gas companies withheld the gas at the grid needed until they could make record profits. So we're all spending at least $40 more a month on our electricity bills. (01:38–01:45)
