“One thing that was, for me, a big part of the Prop 50 campaign was a deeper appreciation and respect for some of the federal campaigns and the work that's being done at the local level across the country. And so remember, Prop 50, we were able to get 1.2, almost 1.3 individual contributions, 1 million from across the country, 50 states. And so we have volunteers, we have organizers, we have a resource base across the country. And I want to put that to use, even if it's just virtually to help support the larger cause.” (44:52–45:02)
