And so I think these experiences, these identities I hold, they really allow me to celebrate diversity and fight for it and know that every family deserves to be kept together. And so that's why I introduced legislation, keep families together, that helps protect our communities and make sure that the state violence and state sanctioned violence that's coming down on our communities, that we're all working together to keep each other safe.
