Number one, back in 2017, Brad Schimmel, when he was our attorney general, was trying to push forward a constitutional amendment to force judges to consider the dangerousness of crime criminals when setting bail. Because right now, The Wisconsin Constitution only allows bail to ensure a defendant appears in court.
