I have sat across from survivors of sexual assault and I know that pain doesn't go away after three months, 12 months, two years, five years. We need to make sure they have the resources that they are supported. And I've said I will defend any additional exception that the legislature passes. The governor of Wisconsin said he wouldn't even sign an exception that had rape or incest because it didn't go far enough. (30:59–31:04)
