We were finding that many of our young people that are on Rikers island right now, they had learning disabilities in general, but specifically dyslexic dysfunctional dyslexia. Like I am dyslexic. We are now doing dyslexia screening in every school. to make sure that our children don't have to believe that they're dumb. They just learn differently.
