The failure of these companies to spend money on their production is quite literally putting our country at risk because of delays to our weapons systems. And that's why I introduced a bill this week with Republican Josh Hawley just to stop this from happening. It's called the Prioritizing the War Fighter in Defense Contracting Act. And it does a bunch of good things. Most basic of all, it requires these defense contractors to meet the Department of Defense's national security requirements. (06:26–06:32)
