Well, with American help and American intelligence, Mexican authorities went after one of the biggest cartels, Jalisco New Generation is their name and their kingpin, a guy named El Mencho. This operation was actually significant. Over 70 people died total, including 25 uniform Mexicans. And in response, this drug cartel instigated violence widespread across Mexico.
