The other real troubling abuse of power that really led me to run for this position is during COVID lockdowns and when people were discussing vaccines and the efficiency of masks or effectiveness of masks, Justin Jones put forth a proposal that said anybody who more or less spoke out in disagreement with what he thought the science was at the time... were committing acts that were put public health in jeopardy. And he actually had a proposal to try to silence people who would question and bring up other theories and other thoughts to how they were handling things at the county level. (09:16–09:35)
