While we are here to celebrate Juneteenth, I also want to take a moment to thank our Governor, Tony Evers. Since you [Governor Tony Evers] were elected, you have faced insurmountable odds, but somehow you have delivered progress, especially for black Wisconsinites. Whether it was increasing and increasing the success and consistency of the supplier diversity program, supporting black businesses and entrepreneurs impacted by the COVID 19 pandemic, opening up the pardon board in our state, or supporting our children.
