Maybe not for everybody, but Congress like a government shutdown they scare us with, but it proves we can survive a shutdown. Why don't Republicans use the leverage to get appropriation spending bills done? Because It's actually fiscally irresponsible to shut the government down. That's why it costs so many more billions of dollars to shut down the government to restart it again. So what Republicans do foolishly is oftentimes we'll spend a dollar to save a nickel.
