I learned to listen, and I learned to look at somebody when they're saying something and really pay attention to them. And that being married and being a father was very helpful in my career. I got into a very specialized line of SEAL work for about the last 10 years or so, I was in the SEAL teams. And the success of those types of missions was predicated directly on your ability to understand what another human being in front of you saying, oftentimes in a different language. (16:16–16:25)
