This bill will speed up the energy project approval process by cutting red tape, approving more NEAP applications, and expanding the number of new energy development sites across the country. In addition to reforming our permitting process, I'm focused on improving the Rural Energy in America program, which helps small businesses and farmers stay alive and remain competitive by investing in renewable energy and energy efficiency projects.
