And at the same time we have to recognize we're in a new world. And the new world has enormous capital demands. There's a need for basic research, I think in a way that's never been before. Our basic research budget is what it is at 1950 levels. As a percent of GDP it should be dramatically higher. And speed is more important now than ever.
