So, like, just to give you a few examples, in my first year in office, I was able to follow through on a campaign promise and pass a law that ended gun shows at the Orange county fairgrounds in Costa Mesa. The next year, we were able to end gun shows across the state on state property. Being the first state in the union to do that, my district staff has helped over 2000 residents of the 37th Senate district here in Orange county get their EdD benefits. (02:10–02:15)
