Again, I understand why this is being done so as to not cause a panic. But I do wish that the police department and the city's leadership, Mayor Cavalier Johnson urges people to take proper precaution. and more importantly, allows the police to do their job and emboldens assistant district attorneys, or in fact, puts pressure on assistant district attorneys to charge these crimes as the serious felonies that they are and judges in this to sentence those crimes accordingly.
